Enrolment Criteria

St Dominic’s Centre, Mayfield is a Kindergarten to Year 12 school that provides educational excellence for children with a range of disabilities including hearing impairment, Autism Spectrum Disorder and/ or Cognitive disability.

Small class sizes

Our small class sizes support students’ individual educational needs, in addition to their communication, social and sensory needs. The program aims to prepare students for either a smooth transition into a mainstream setting or for the continuation of learning in a Catholic specialised setting.

At St Dominic’s, students are directed to establish lifelong learning behaviours and routines to maximise independence.

Enrolment eligibility

There are very limited spaces available for these classes and appropriate diagnostic reports must be presented with the enrolment application. Potential enrolment is based on class availability and classroom dynamics.
